Horses for Sale

We have a few horses for sale at this time:

The bay colt is $500, Jack(reg. name pending), he is by Kbar Rodeo Trash, 2008 APHA 15 hands

The paint filly is $2500, Lochness Nessie, pedegree unknown, 2008 PtHA 14.3 hands

The grey filly is $3500, Bifrost, she is by Nebraska Blue Moon. 2008 AQHA 15 hands

The sorrel filly with the blaze face is $500 Echo (reg. name pending), she is by Kbar Rodeo Trash, 2008 APHA 15.1

The blue roan filly is $3500, Azrael, she is by Nebraska Blue Moon, 2008 AQHA 14 hands

We also have a sorrel filly with a star, Siren (reg. name pending), she is by Zindys Red Rooster, 2008 AQHA14.3 hands (not pictured) She is $750.

Armani Update

Here are some current pictures of Kbar Fashion Label (Armani)...taken Nov 17, 2009.

I found a new horse.....

After we put Versace down a few weeks back I thought I would pull Poncho out of retirement and just enter him till Braska is running at futurities. So, we go him up, legged him up, did some injections and started running him. I ran him 6 times=3 3D times and 3 NTs because of ducked barrels. I decide he can stay semi-retired this time and be a lesson horse.

Then began the unpleasant search for a new prospect for me. I wanted something age 3 to 10 that was not started on the barrels but really broke! Brandon and I prefer mares, not just to bred later but I get along with hormones better than geldings. I tried not to be a complete pedigree snob but I really can not help it. Oh, and it had to be a bargain!!!! I looked at 7 horses......6 were lame(seriously peps), 1 was a midget(tape measure people, no guessing!) and 1 was the mare we bought. My math is correct the midget was lame too! One of my best friends Jennifer Zeller (the South Dakota Cowgirl) knows the girl who had her for sale and like everyone right now she need to sell one and get some cash flow! Jennifer told Jamie that she knew a perfect home for the mare...My house!

She is by Special Show and out of a daughter of Moon Lark. Special Show is by Special Effort and we all know how much I Love Special Effort. She is big and sorrel with some roan and a coon tail! She has the typical Special Effort mare disposition... not real trusting and bitchy at first but then they come around and love you! My favorite mare Gucci and this mare look so much alike. They even have the same marking on their faces. I did not know what the mare's name was when I brought her home so I named her Vanity. Her registered name is Ima Special Lark(we will have to see about changing that...sounds like a western pleasure gelding's name.) I think she has been around the barrels a bit like trotting them or something. I want her to go the left and change a couple things about the way she is broke, but I can hardly wait to get her bulked up, in shape and going! Brandon and I are super happy with our 2008 babies! All of them are super sweet and PRETTY! They are all turned out right now being horses...Here are some pictures from the first week of Nov 2009. The big black gelding baby sitting is Lucky and he really thinks he is smart bossing around a bunch of yearlings. Lucky is a 2006 gelding; he stands 15 hands and wgts about 1100 lbs. The bay roan paint filly is Nessie (Nessie the Raffle Horse~PtHA.) The blue roan filly is Azrael (Frosty Twisted Moon~AQHA.) Frost is the blaze face gray filly, (Blue Cyclone Frost~AQHA.) And, our only colt for 2008 is Armani (Kbar Fashion Label~AQHA.)

Kbar Fashion Label

Here is Armani; a 2008 sorrel AQHA colt. He is out of a half sister to Kendal Owen's 2009 Superstake Horse. Kbar Barrel Horses is wishing them luck to make the run she is so capable of making. Both his dam & sire are $money$ earning barrel horses. He is super sweet and broke. He leads, ties, trims, UTD on everything, saddle broke, gives his face, trailers like a champ(some times he loads himself) and is extremely athletic. He has been a doll to raise and work with. His dam, Gucci is my favorite broodmare and was a pleasure to work with. These pictures are from June 2009. Jills Blue Moon~Braska

This is my baby!!! I love her. She is the best 2yo I have ever rode. She is by Nebraska Blue Moon and out of a 1/2 sister to Charmayne James' stallion A Black Feature. She was broke by John Clark, Peyton Rainey's husband and is trotting a pretty barrel pattern. 2010 BFA juvenile futurity hopeful! Here is a link to her pedigree, provide by allbreedpedigree.com
